Wayne O'Hanlon, the Operations Manager at UGL, who is leading UGL’s delivery of the structural, mechanical, piping and electrical and instrumentation (SMP and E&I) works for the project, said:

“We’ve developed construction strategies not only during the design, fabrication and planning phase but also in our approach to the final site construction. Together with Viva Energy, we've integrated key constructability inputs in the design, improving construction safety procedures and working efficiencies. Through careful layout of construction access platforms and strategic pipe runs, we have minimised work at height and been able to concentrate similar tasks within specific work areas.”

UGL and Viva Energy are committed to making cleaner, sustainable fuel and we’re pleased to collaborate with our client on a critical project that will deliver positive health and environmental outcomes.
