For Chris Cutuli, the ability to join a team was the driving factor behind his decision to work at the UGL Townsville workshop as a Store Person.
“I was working by myself in the other role, whereas this is more of a team. That’s why I wanted to leave my old job,” says Chris.
Before joining, Chris was lucky enough to know a bit about the company and even has a relative work in another office!
“I did a shutdown or two with UGL years ago when I was on the tools as a boilermaker. My mum has been working for UGL in Gladstone for the last five-and-a-half years. She works in the payrolls down there,” says Chris.
Luckily his mum had good things to say about UGL and he had no need for convincing to take the role.
