What made you choose the CIMIC Group graduate program?
“I wanted to join the graduate program at UGL as it is a leader in multiple industries. I was drawn by the opportunity to gain experience and to learn from experts in these fields. I was also interested in UGL’s commitment to safety and being part of projects that have a positive impact on society and the environment. I wanted to be more closely involved with the projects than I would have been in a traditional finance graduate program.”

“In my role as project accountant, my main tasks are billing, cost reports and making sure that project finances are aligned well to ensure there is cash flow available. This means if they want to purchase any equipment for the job, I need to approve this for cost control.
“In my first rotation, I worked on the ESSO project where UGL provides operations and general maintenance services at onshore and offshore locations. I also worked on a UGL Defence project helping out with the day-to-day accounting and monthly reporting for Logistics Engineering Services.
I am enjoying the finance aspect of projects and learning how to run them efficiently.”
