UGL has recently acquired Logistic Engineering Services (LES).
LES is an Australian-based consulting and professional service provider that specialises in the development and delivery of integrated logistics support services, software and training throughout the asset lifecycle, with a focus on the Defence sector.
It has a network of experienced project managers, logistic engineers and specialists, logistic analysts, programmers, trainers and technical personnel.
The acquisition enhances UGL’s flexibility to provide solutions to support management, engineering, maintenance, logistic and training needs across our business portfolio.
LES will operate as a part of UGL’s Services Division – expanding UGL’s and CIMIC Group’s diverse capabilities and provision of integrated whole-of-life solutions for clients in the Defence, resources, transport and industrial sectors.
UGL Managing Director Doug Moss said: “We welcome LES employees to the team and we’re looking forward to working with them. The addition of LES to UGL’s Services Division will allow us to increase our capability while complementing LES’ existing capabilities to build on their client relationships.”
UGL and LES will work through a transition process focused on safety, continuity of service to employees and clients, and enabling our new team members to build upon their successful careers as part of CIMIC Group.
