Reporting to the Environment & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for providing specialist environmental advice and input to a number of projects.  Initially you will support the Sydney Metro Northwest Project based in Castle Hill.
 
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
  • Day-to-day management of all on-site environmental aspects including field testing, site inspections, and any monitoring requirements within their designated areas
  • Practical implementation of on-site environmental controls
  • Support the establishment of project specific environmental management system, procedures and tools to provide surety of successful project delivery and compliance with environmental plan.
  • Support project induction and environmental management systems/tools training.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
 
. About You
You will thrive on stepping up to an opportunity that inspires new solutions. Ideally you
 
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, or Evironmental Science or an equivalent approved qualification
  • Previous experience in an Environmental Coordinator role with a desire to step up to the challenge
  • Demonstrate a commitment to getting things done right the first time
  • Are not afraid to step up to additional duties where required and have an “all hands-on deck” attitude
  • Can collaborate as part of a high-performing team
