About the opportunity
With a significant pipeline of opportunities identified across the Transport and Technology sectors, we are currently seeking an experienced signalling engineer to be based out of our North Clayton site in Melbourne. Working with a new leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and providing technical advice and finding solutions.
On a day to day this position will prepare, oversee and manage designs with simplicity, economy and sufficient to meet the project specifications. Design and select equipment to suit the contract requirements along with generating the contract Bill of Materials (BOM).
This position will be accountable for the effective delivery of the Signalling Engineering elements of Projects, ensuring each project is to time, to the required quality and budget.
Other key tasks include but not limited to, tender review, presentation of design solutions to both clients and contractors, planning the delivery and resource requirements to the assigned project/s and contribute to the overall team development and growth through strategic inputs.
We are looking for someone who is accountable for the effective delivery of the assigned tasks and deliverables of Projects to time, to the require quality and budget.
A people person who has the ability, to maintain good relationships with client’s key representative, and contribute to the marketing / networking of the company to potential customers. Ideally you will hold an appropriate Engineering qualification or equivalent with a proven ability within systems engineering and assurance principles on projects. It would also be a benefit but not essential to have experience across other Melbourne based infrastructure projects.
