We have an opportunity for a Strategic Growth Analyst to join our Defence team. Reporting to the General Manager Defence, you will be responsible for contributing to the origination and execution of initiatives and transactions which grow UGL’s capability as well as work winning. A key focus of the role will be providing analytical support, specifically building transaction models, influencing, structuring and summarising transaction characteristics and assisting with research and due diligence.
Monitor industry developments, economic drivers and competitor activity relevant to the Markets;
Analyse market and transaction data to identify and recommend investment opportunities;
Develop and review financial models;
Develop and update relevant databases to retain market and transaction information;
Acquisition analysis and business case development and effectively deliver bid outcomes;
Monitor and measure progress and success of projects and bids;
Provide growth related budgets, reports and forecasts to various stakeholders
Essential skills and experience required:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Finance or Project Management;
Minimum 5 years’ experience in range of operational, project and commercial environments;
High level understanding of commercial acumen and business practices, as well as strong analytical capability;
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven;
Proficiency in developing plans, tracking progress, delivering on commitments and completing tasks;
Conscientious and diligent attention to detail, independent with a high quality of work output;
Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email.
