About the opportunity
This position will be responsible for the Signaling Design of the systems and processes in accordance with the project specifications. Including the preparation of designs with simplicity, economy and sufficient to meet the project specifications.
On a day to day this role will design and select equipment to suit the contract requirement and generate the contract Bill of Materials (BOM). Preparing, register and revise all company related inspection, test and quality documents. With the registering of all project documentation and correspondence on appropriate project databases/registers.
Key elements of this role also includes to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure adequacy of the design for manufacture and construction.

Ideally you will hold an appropriate Engineering qualification within electrical or electronic engineering, with current Statements of Competency in design with MTM, V/Line or ARTC or equivalent.
We ask that you will have a proven ability within engineering design and assurance principles on projects. Demonstrated experience or exposure within signaling design, with experience in operating Microstation would also be required for this role.
