We have opportunities for a Project Delivery Lead to join the Asset Services division team in Brisbane. This role is responsible for the end to end safe delivery of various Compliance, Integrity Management, Maintenance and growth projects as part of the Projects team.
 
This role identifies and directs the resources and processes that must be managed during the life of a project, sub-projects or collection of projects that are interdependent to meet a common business objective. This role is responsible for addressing all critical project control elements, including Cost, Schedule, Quality, Risk, Information Management.
 
 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Ensure the project activities for the region are compliant with HSSE procedures for the design and  engineering
  • Ensure the field activities (construction and commissioning) managed by the regional team follow HSSE procedures, identify and manage risk and lead to no incidents.
  • Develops, implements and manages a project Execution Plan, and leads execution strategies –oversees the monitoring, reporting and controlling of all strategies as required.
  • Cost Management: Develop cost estimate, monitor and control costs.
  • Schedule Management: Develop schedule estimate, monitor and control schedule.
  • Information Management: Ensures alignment to pre-established information management system.
  • Contracting and Procurement: Develop and implement contract and procurement strategies.
  • Scope Management: Monitor and control project schedule and progress, including contracts
  • Quality Management: Ensure quality by looking for value: identify the drivers, push back as needed, and address the business needs as well as the project needs.
  • Supervision of the project work and contractor performance to ensure delivery of project outcomes in line with business expectations

To be successful in this role; 

  • Years of work in similar projects dependent on the size and complexity of the project. It is expected the team will have ex Graduate through to 10 Year + Project Delivery Experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels internally and externally.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplined project teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels internally and externally.
  • The candidate shall possess excellent project coordination and management skills and shall preferably be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong communication skills is essential oral and written including negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships at all stakeholder levels
  • A sold commercial understanding
