We have opportunities for experienced Work Pack Developer | Estimator | Permit Writers to join the Asset Services division team on site working 2:2 roster.
The Work Pack Developer | Estimator | Permit Writer is responsible for maximizing tool time by ensuring all approved work activities are correctly scoped prior to scheduling and the commencement of a job.
Conducts field walk downs of work orders to identify and document job requirements.
Requests safety procedures (isolations, mercury impacted areas etc.) to ensure all aspects of company safety policy are incorporated into the job plan.
Estimates required hours on work order tasks, total work order duration and craft types to perform the task
Plans jobs with sufficient detail for the given skilled trade workforce working with the site Planner
Gathers necessary supporting documentation for work execution.
Identifies parts, resources and specialized tools required to perform work.
Support the Project Coordinator with all aspects of project and technical coordination of work scopes.
Estimate/scope, develop and details project activities for all sustaining maintenance work
You will be based on site in order to scope and verify work requests, create estimates, develop work packs, organise permit requirements
To be successful in this role;
Minimum of 5 years Oil and Gas maintenance experience working within a similar position compiling detailed work packs.
Good communication skills is essential oral and written
- Experience in using JD Edwards is desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office computer skills
- Trade cert – Mechanical
